September flew by and October finally arrived.
My birthday passed and I was thankful for the years I have survived.
The month continued, and it carried surprising news.
One of my teachers was leaving, and the students had to say their adieus.
To my surprise, dun dun dun, it was my AP Physics teacher.
She is a very nice instructor, and you could not find any one kinder.
She found a position in another high school
and she was worried she would make the new students sleep and drool.
She left around October's third week,
and my classmates and I hoped the new teacher would not be a freak.
The new teacher turned out to be an older man.
"My name is Mr. Fowler," said he, as his introduction began.
He was a very gentle and kindhearted fellow.
He would smile every time and was very mellow.
Along with my two other classmates, we all really like Mr. Fowler.
We are excited for the rest of the school year, and we wish it would go faster!

Changing My Schedule!
The school year started with brand new classes
which reminds me, I have to get different glasses.
My schedule seemed okay at first,
but I realized a problem as my friend and I conversed.
AP Physics was not my roster!
So I pondered the matter while I was at my locker.
I requested the guidance counselor for a change in my schedule.
She quickly promised that she'll fix it, for these problems were usual.
As she investigated the situation even further,
she stated that the problem became a little bit harder.
In order to switch, I had to drop AP Statistics,
and then make the change into AP Physics.
I paused as I sat there for a moment
for I did not know which choice would be of better judgement.
After a few minutes, I made a decision.
AP Physics became my agenda's new addition.
